Acid Splasher - Women Take Control

Looks like the hunt is still on and more than 20 cases of Acid Splashing has happened till date by the I would say a mentally disturbed man on a motorbike. Ironically all the victims were attacked when they were either walking, standing by at a Bus Stop or somewhere waiting for someone to pick them up, or women who are walking towards their car. If you are in car, you will be save but once you alight you are exposed to the splasher. Here are some tips where you can take as a safety precaution against the splasher.

1. Be Alert. There may be hundreds of motorcyclists on the road, the Splasher may be a motorcyclist who will be riding at much slower speed compared to others, so that he could easily prey on his targets. Watch out for slow riding motorcyclists.

2.  Take Notice. He will be on a Full Masked Helmet to avoid his face being seen. Or if he is not covered definitely he will be wearing sunglasses or maybe even a haze mask to cover his face. Take notice of such man on the bikes.

3. Be Sensitive. Use your senses. If he is nearing you and slowing down at the same time, you better be extra alert. Understand the sound of a slowing down motorbike.

4. Be Watchful. If you are walking to your destination or to your car, you will need to be on the look around. Keep on looking around you as you walk.

5. Be Ready. Carry an Umbrella, it may serve you as a weapon to strike him if  he stumbles upon attacking. You may use it hit him or just slide through the umbrella in between the wheels to make him fall.

6. Be Quick. Use your Cars remote lock to unlock your car doors instead of using the keys. If its spoiled spend some money to get it done. After all ist your safety.

7. Be a Team. Walk in groups not even in pairs, chances are he will miss some and when all of you are alert, you and your friends will definitely catch something about the splasher e.g. his plate number, the color of the bike, etc.

8. Be at Far. If you really need to stand at the road side or a Bus Stop, stand behind the Bus Stop or stand further in on the pavement, this will reduce the impact of the acid splashed to reach a person. Same goes to walking, walk in the far end of  a pavement.
